We've got EZ Tire. Purchased it on Amazon for something just under $300. We have a short bed, crew cab truck with a 41' fifth wheel and we don't have any trouble with the wireless connectivity between the monitor and the transmitters on the valve stems. There is an available repeater for longer setups if needed to ensure acceptable signal transmission. You can customize the target inflation pressure with alarms for a certain percentage above and below the target (default/recommended is an alarm at 10% under target pressure and 20% over target pressure and an alarm if any tire temp exceeds a certain reading. Display in the truck is about the size of a smaller GPS unit and displays the current temp and inflation for each tire individually at six second intervals. The monitor can handle up to 22 tires but I was able to purchase my system with just the four transmitters that we need. Have been using the system for around a year or so with our last TT and now our Reflection. Good luck!

I was wondering about the signal booster. Saw it mentioned with most of the ones I have looked at. Thanks

We have not found a need for the signal booster. Long F-550 crew cab, 8' bed and a 39' Solitude. All works well. But the long distance charges are killer. (kidding)

I've been using the TST tpms and have found it to work well. I do have a booster, but probably don't need it. I have the 507 non flow through sending units. The batteries are easy to replace about once a year. I took off the security feature so it's easier to remove to add air if necessary, but I've found it is rare that air has been needed. The battery on the monitor lasts a long long time between charging.

    TPMS System

Ours is a TireMinder and with our 2 axle 42.5' rig have not needed a booster. The in cab unit lasts 30 days on a charge. Easy to use and has performed well for 2 1/2 yrs. regardless of what brand you choose, I believe everyone should use one and monitor both pressure and temperature looking for anything unusual. It'll save you major problems if you are observant.

I have the EZ Tire also, works well. I am using the flow through transmitters (on steel valve stems). No booster on a long bed crew and 350M. Only lost signal when batteries got weak, or at least I assume that was the problem, replaced all batteries and everything was fine. I have one on the trailer spare tire also.
    Take care,

I'm looking at the TST 507rv with flow thru. Only draw back I see is it says I need metal valve stems. I found it online with Vulcan Tire for $229, free shipping. One of my sisters has this system with no complaints. BTW, she just traded their Montana for a new Solitude.

Goldsp8, even though it's not required for some of the tpms sensors, in my opinion metal valve stems should be used no matter what type of sensor is used if they are external. This just eliminates another problem that could occur with a cracked rubber valve stem. Every bit of centrifical force could damage a rubber valve stem.

Good point Steve. I guess you are talking about the extra weight of the sensor on the valve stem?
