Fall Creek Falls
First time using our RV. This state park is only a couple hours drive from our house so it was a good try out. It rained the night we got there and all day the next. Never seen so much water but it made for good hiking and fantastic water falls the following day. We really enjoyed our first RV trip.

Yes there was lots of water. It made crossing the fixed and swinging bridges that much more fun!

Fall Creek Falls State Park is a real gem. I think it's Tennessee's second largest state park, and it's something like 10 miles to get to the Inn and cabins. The water fall is pretty impressive when in full flow.
It's southeast of Spencer--which is south of Cookeville. McMinnville's not to far, and it's about 1 hour northeast of Chattanooga.

If you guys want a bit of a challenge and then a treat, go find the Cable Trail down below one of the falls. A very steep descent with an overhead cable trail gets you to one of the pools and is sparsely populated. We swam all day on a peak weekend and only saw a few people. Probably not a good idea for parents with children. There is a drop that I had to shot put the Labradoodles back up on the return trip.
