As to whether you 'NEED' a second hose? Usually not. Carrying one long hose will usually suffice. But...stuff happens and having spare bits can often
The only way to prevent such sticking is to have a fabric material that can breathe. Unfortunantly GD does not offer this option.
They are standard fit whether you go OEM or other. Haven't had issues with any OEM jacks so far though.
