    Take yours out and take it to your local builder's store (Lowes or Home Depot preferred, check in with the customer service desk so they know you brought it in) check in the plumbing department, and ask for help if needed. Another suggestion: take it out, wash with dish detergent, rinse with HOT water, then replace.
