Sorry for the slow reply, we just returned from a Montana trip. I am towing to 310GK with a 2008 F250 FX4 PSD short bed. The hitch I have is the Pullrite 16K slider. I'm not sure if I really needed the slider, but the peace of mind made it worth it for me.

At first I thought about bagging the truck right away for the 310, but we just returned from our first long trip (5000 miles) and I'm not sure it would make a noticeable difference in towing.

My truck is stock. I haven't done the egr or dpf because I live in Phoenix and have to go through the crazy emission test every 2 years.

The truck tows the trailer fine. You can feel the weight when accelerating, but really once I'm going you really can't tell the trailer is there. The truck and trailer are super stable together and I honestly can't tell the difference between our Jayco and the 310 even though it weighs at least 2000 lbs more.

My wife and I are looking into purchasing a 2017 310gk, to camp with our kids. I noticed you have the same tow vehicle as me ('08 F250 lariat PSD 4x4)

Wanted to know if you had to do any mods on the truck, for pulling this rig (airbags, tires, etc)? Also, what hitch are you using?

To date I'm dpf delete, egr delete, ca intake, and mini maxx tuner... I currently tow a 7k# travel trailer with golf cart in the bed, and don't even know it's back there. I'm assuming I'm going to AT LEAST need air bags to carry the pin weight of a new Solitude

Any advice you can lend is greatly appreciated!!!
