LOL - If you keep a hand full of the largest wire nuts in your pocket, you can connect anything to anything.

Anything that looks like that is not somebody’s work. This is an example of let’s get it done as fast as possible and on to the next...keep our fingers crossed that nobody will ever see it. I would be embarrassed to call that work.
Anyway...Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!!!

You know . . . "embarrassed" is a good word. Since I have the back of my Reflection dropped down, a neighbour (from a mobile home) stops by to see if I need any help. Takes a look underneath and says OH !!! . . . what happened???. And then I find myself explaining "don't worry, they're all like this" . . . and I'm justifying this .

Totally agree, I could never work at an RV manufacturer, my standards are way too high. Reminds me of one of my first jobs at a car wash, I got fired because i spent too much time cleaning the windows, I wanted them to be perfect. They were not interested in perfect. The sad thing is that there is no difference between a high end RV and entry level, it is all the same.

I have to wonder if its really cost effective to run wires that way as compared to a single wiring harness with individual feed wires coming off the main line for outlets, CATV, light fixtures, etc. Seems to be that would faster and would utilize less material as it wouldn’t be up to the installer to decide how much or little feed lines to leave wrapped around plumbing fixtures, frame supports etc.

This one led me to go looking for defective electrical connections in the same area.

Dropping the coroplast was easy once I got the stabilizer assembly removed (BTW one of 4 screws was gone and another was stripped)

The first thought that came to mind after my rebuild of the plumbing area was . . . here we go again.
BTW, there is absolutely no insulation aft of the foil that wraps up the back of the water tank . . . no wonder that back floor is so cold!

More to follow (of course ) as I put this all back together.

All I can say is I'm glad I live in Florida and the rig is parked in the back yard. Once I retire (for good this time) there will be plenty to do, thanks to you, Sir Robert, and your camera.

Think of the money GD could save if they planned the wire runs. I'm guessing they could save several hundred dollars and probably the same in labor hours if they planned better. With things neat there is less chance for repairs on their nickle later too. Most other manufacturers use wire looms - why cant GD make their own.

The engineer in me is thinking out loud again.

I am thinking we could gain a couple hundred more pounds of "stuff" we could put in if they only used what they needed.

I'm glad I kept reading because the pictures just kept getting worse.

I don't want to even think about dropping mine.
