Just finished a body off restoration and ready to get on down the road. Now it has a 454, Termec 5 speed manual, power brakes/steering, Ford nine inch rear end. Back seat was modified to fit over the tubs, and the roll cage removed. How do you guys put in those big pictures?

[QUOTE=CWSWine;205089 She asks me what I want for Christmas I said how about 1967 Camero and Car Hauler to pull behind the motorhome so we can attend cruise-ins around the country and visit some of the big car shows. Well, she got the smile that she likes the idea and said yes.

After tax season this year, we going to buy the Car and Hauler and once again I will be a Car Guy. So I would like to retract my not wanting to drive a DRW truck as my primary reason and replace it with I get take my 67 Camero with us on the road. [/QUOTE]

Dennis - kinda like that 67 Camaro myself especially when it's one of 602 builds.

    Nice BelAir!

I've had the Tremec 5spd manual in the GS for years now as well.. love it. 3.55 w/OD is pretty smooth, especially in a Buick.
Added Holley Sniper EFI last Spring and love it also but haven't had much time to drive (aka: tune) it.

I have three toys, a 1963 Impala SS, a 1966 Mustang coupe and a 1972 Datsun 240Z. The 1963 Impala is like the one that I owned in 1964 when I got married and we drove it on our honeymoon. The 240Z was purchased new and has so many fun memories. Click image for larger version.

Brings back old memories. My first car was a 68' road runner, 383, hurst 4 spd. My first year of owning it cost me a fortune in rear tires. No teenager should have a car like that.

    Nice cars Tom.
One of my first jobs was detailing cars. The detail shop was clear across town. 3 or 4 of us would go over to the Datsun Dealership and pickup the cars and drive them back to the detail shop. We would make the show-room shiny and then drive them back over to the dealership. On the way back we always seemed to hit the last red light red before the highway going to the dealership. We broke those car in "real good". First , second and 3rd gear scratches and close to 100. The Datsun 240Z was a fun car. We did that for most of the summer of '72.

Hey guys I'm a new GD owner with a 320G so my family can attend more NHRA races with me as I am a crew member on a top fuel car for a part time job. But I also have my toy at home. Sold my 70 AMC javelin I had for 20 years and my production number 1-79 hurst cutlass to get my dream car a 71 barracuda.

I just watched the Mecum car auction and couldn't believe the prices classic cars are selling for. So a 1962 Corvette sold for 42,000 and frame off 1968 Road Runner with a high bid of 36,000 and no sale. Some other examples were 55 T-Bird no sale at 41,000 - 68 RS no sale at 42,000. I can remember pre-2008 that 62 Corvette would be a 6 figure easy and the T-Birds would easily be in the 60 to 100 thousand range. The segment I watch I would guess 80% of the cars were a no sale. Looks like to me the classic car market has gone soft. I watch for a couple of hours and no street rods.
