Question Slide outs do not close completely Grand Design Reflection 337RLS

My slide outs do not close completely at the bottom (see attached photos)
I returned to the dealer and was told by their service rep that there was nothing they could do,. it was a design problem.
During my trip to FL last month I happened to see a same year 337RLS and the slides were completely closed.
Is there an adjustment I can make to fix this issue?Click image for larger version.

Yours look pretty typical to me. As long as the rubber D seal is compressed, your fine. I should add, not pretty but functioning properly.

I ran into similar issues with our 375RE and I was able to do the adjustments myself. Now I'm not sure what mechanism your slide has but mine has large rods under the slide that ran through a bracket and had double nuts that allow the slide to be adjusted in or out as needed. You'll need room to move the slide in and out after every adjustment and a little adjustment goes a long way. There are good videos on YouTube that show the step by step process, they may not be for your trailer but you're looking for the same mechanism. But as Paul said previously if the D seal is compressed the slide is properly aligned. Good Luck

Your pictures are perfectly normal, and just like any other RV out there.

The part you are seeing is below floor level, in the trim area. Means nothing.

Well, as a consumer it doesn't exactly "mean nothing"! I agree it doesn't have a negative impact on function but let's be clear, it looks stupid and doesn't conform to my eye. After 3 years it is still the first thing I see when I walk up to the curb side of my trailer. Once the slide is out, I relax

It is physically impossible to mount a fender flare on 2 different planes and have them line up.

The slide walls themselves where the living "box" is what is important, so it really doesn't matter what is below the box.

Aesthetically, not the best looking, but is the only option.

Well there is always the option of buying a unit without a slide over the wheels.

Ours looks the same, tighter at the top and wider on the bottom. But the gasket appears tight all around.

Have same issue on 2018 29RS. Would love to know a fix. Dealer states that is the way it is. Factory now seeking a "fix" for poor grand design result however true fix appears unlikely. Probably just a bad grand design component of an otherwise very nice rv.

If anyone learns of a fix would love to learn of it.
