Not sure if you guys have seen this done but I carry a collapsing leg table for extra prep and party space. I made these brackets out of scrap 1/2 plywood with a longer flange at the top so you can screw through it and then into the aluminum floor joists. I spaced it with about a half inch of play to make it slide easy.
    Hope someone can use it.

With the information, I google central vac pipe strap. Here is the result. I paid $10.25 for 4. That is $3.00 for the parts and $7.25 for shipping.

    https://www.centralvac.com/installat...ipe-strap.html

Thanks for the info. I also like the table slid show later in the thread... that will be my Easter vacation build.

replaced the angled basement wall today with black melamine. Love this mod- gained 2more feet of storage. Also placed a lexan window in the same wall that allows easy visualization of mechanicals behind the wall. Hinged so easy access as well. 377MBS-RClick image for larger version.

Have you posted details on your basement hinge mod? It looks really well done. I’d like to know how you did it?
