How does the Jeep do with the 2150RB

The manual says it can handle a hitch weight of 720 pounds, a trailer weight of 7200 pounds, and a length of 30 feet.

We read reviews and looked at RVs, nothing dazzled us until we saw the Grand Designs. The 2150RB is within the Grand Cherokee's limits and my wife loves it. We bought it on Sunday but we won't pick up until they get it ready and install the brake controller and anti-sway thing. I already ordered the camera for the rear and getting tow mirrors for the Jeep. Our biggest challenge right now is finding a storage location. I have two appointments in the morning to tour facilities.

    Here's our tow vehicle.

I saw your post from last year. How does your Jeep do with pulling the 2150RB. I have a deposit on a 2150RB and have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with the same engine and towing ratings. Hope to find out from you soon as we are ready for the adventures to begin. Thanks

It pulls it fine. I never drive over 65 when pulling it to keep the MPG over 10. Plus just feels like I can control it better at 65 or less. Transmission stays in 6th gear or higher and the RPMs around 4K. Feels like the engine is screaming but people tell me that's normal. Roughly the same engine as a RAM 1500 so it's like towing with that.

    Thank you!!

We stayed last night in it and we are already loving it. We both agree we need a new mattress, but otherwise, are very happy!
We had a slide topper installed and glad we did that. There was an issue with hot water heater but that has been fixed. Overall, just a few minor issues. We spent the night at the dealer's delivery lot (where they ask customers to stay) and was nice to run through everything.
