James, thx for that, couldnt figure out why it would never come on, was thinking i had to check the wiring.
I did turn the lights on but didnt pay attention to the display until later i looked over and saw an image

I bought furrion FOS07TASF before and around half of year it didn't work, then I tried Haloview MC7101 with less than half the price. Till now, it has passed 10 months and still working. I won't trust furrion anymone, bad experience.

I just installed the Furrion FOS48TAPK observation camera. I believe it is a bit higher in price then some solutions but very easy to install. Took about 15 minutes to have installed and working. Good signal strength and decent vision out camera. My 303 was wired to the running lights so no need to modify.

This is an old thread being revived.

We decided to mount our Furrion monitor to our truck’s rearview mirror using a wall plate hanger 5.5” x 8”. Works great, no vibration, inexpensive solution. Added a little black electrical tape to the grip edges so they don’t scratch the monitor.

    Here’s an example:

I should add that our monitor is the 4.3.

I've found that the BuiltRite dash bracket is really useful for mounting any number of items. I've got my RV GPS and my Furrion observation camera on the mount. It's really nice because it's right in my line of vision when I need it. You could probably fabricate something like this out of steel yourself if they don't have an application for your truck.
