I found this comment on facebook. It's in line with what I noticed.
"The double door Norcold uses 3,000 BTUs when the unit is cooling. A pound of propane has approx 21,500 BTUs or about 7 hours per pound assuming the refrig boiler is running 100% of the time. A 30 pound tank, with the boiler running 100% of the time will last 8 days."Pam & Ed

When I posted that is was in response to whether or not two tanks would last ten days. In the real world unless you are camped in the desert I would expect 30 pounds to last a lot longer than 8 days. Only in extreme environments would the boiler be firing 100% of the time.
