What I want is a water filter downstream of the water pump. I really want to filter the water coming out of the fresh water tank. When they put that cute faucet on the sink, I could not mount one of those nozzle filters like I had on my previous RVs.

If what you really want is one on the sink, put one under the sink on the cold line. Otherwise you can splice in behind your universal water panel...

That looks like a nicely secured setup, thanks for sharing.

I presume you are asking about the filter mod picture I posted last year. I don't have an exact/complete parts list but,,,
-Filter came from Walmart as a 2 pack Camco I think. $25
-the clamps were electrical conduit clamps from Home depot (see earlier post in this thread for a link to those
-a 3' hose from Tractor supply (someone posted the same hose is available at Amazon with a link above)
-shut off valves from walmart (garden supply aisle)
-electrical EMT conduit clamps to hold the hose in place.
-90deg and 45deg brass elbows (I believe walmart)
-a cheap pressure regulator (I believe Walmart carries one too)
-some screws and misc hardware to put it all together.

    Hope this helps.

That is a really cool setup!

Question: I was told, store bought water filters, like the one that appears in your setup, should be cold stored after usage and never left in a warm area, for long periods of time.

Moreover the salesman told me, doing so would allow to bacteria to build up in the filter, potentially leading to a nasty situation in your water system.

Anyone ever heard of this before? If so, would it apply in the set up shown here?

Sorry, no idea there and there is no information on the packaging to indicate that sort of thing. I use it often enough during season (typically at least a couple times a month) that I don't worry about it and threw it away at the end of the season. At 2/$25 at walmart I will put a fresh one in this spring and carry the spare in case the filter gets clogged (which can happen).
