Good morning all,

At all the rallies, many ask about volunteering to help but it is usually at a time when there is not much to do and at times when there is help needed, no one is around. So, I would like to put out a Volunteer Sign-ups list so we can get this taken care of prior to the rally so that it's not just a few people doing allot. I have already put names down for those that have messaged me already with what they would like to help with.

If you are interested in being a volunteer, please send me an email to [email protected] with what you would like to volunteer for.


The WagonMaster will be providing funds to each volunteer for their duties if funds are needed.

This topic seems to be the most emailed I am getting for a rally, will there be a schedule showing what is happening and can I get it?

The sarcastic answer, nope, I just shoot from the hip the whole weekend and hope for the best that everything works out. lol

The serious answer, yes, there is a schedule of events, but I intentionally do not, and will not, release it until a week or so prior to the rally because of continual changes with vendors and times. Updating and continually reposting the schedule takes a lot of time and what always happens is someone will print an outdated schedule, then come to us to complain that what is happen at the rally is not what their schedule is showing, then get upset with us when we point out that they did not print the current schedule and tell us that we need to do a better job.

Yes, by the time of the rally, everyone will be emailed with everything, schedule, site listing, flyers, etc.

Good afternoon all,

Hope your day is going well and you ready to start “Making Smiles into Memories”. The rally is just a tad over a week away and shortly Jenn and I will be leaving to head to Seven Feathers with some stops along the way so our adventure can be even more memorable. We have 152, known as of right now, attending making this the LARGEST regional rally for Grand Design to date.

Attached you will find the informational documents so you know who is where, and what is happening and when. At this point, we do not expect any changes in the schedule and only a possibility of a few changes to the attendance list as there is always a chance of a few more cancellations.

Please remember a few key points.
1. Print the informational documents and bring with you as there will not be any copies at the resort. You can also keep this email on your smart phone so you can bring up the information at any time.
2. The drone group photo is Saturday at noon, so if you want to be in the picture, make sure you are there on time.
3. Friday and Saturday, there is a partial potluck dinner, so be sure to check the schedule for what dinner you will be bringing an item. This is ANY type of dish that is your favorite, it can be a main dish, side dish, dessert dish, just as long as it is your best.
4. There is a Pet Dress-up show at the Father’s Day Sock Hope as well as a Fathers costume contest with ONLY the attending kids being the judge; but everyone is encouraged to dress up 50’s style. So if you’re attending with your kids, please bring them to the party.
5. If you did not get your maintenance issue submission in, you need to fill out the attached form and bring to either Loyal Taylor or Jeret Burnett at the rally to be placed on the list. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember, if you have a maintenance issue, do not go to the tech, let them do their work, bring the issue up to Loyal Taylor and he will coordinate with the tech to get your item looked at.
6. And lastly, plan on HAVING FUN and MAKING SMILES INTO MEMORIES!!!

Good afternoon everyone,



As many know and remember, many months ago the Oregon rally information was deleted from the main Grand Design owners group by one of the admins, and with it, all the informational posts were also deleted. One imparticular was related to having your truck and RV weighed in your campsite by Henderson Lineup using their portable scales, this was a registration question also if you wanted this done. And since the post was removed, many have forgotten, or for those that signed up after this point, may not have known at all.



To have your truck and RV weighed at the resort, there is a $69 fee by Henderson Lineup paid directly between you and Henderson Lineup. For those that have not had this done before, it is very informative as last year I had my RV weighed and I thought I only had a small number of things in the RV not weighing very much and was completely fine for weight. However, after being weighed, my "small number" actually put me about 1000 lbs OVER the weight rating for the RV.



Henderson Lineup has a list of those that signed up through the registration and they will be contacting you directly, possibly closer to the rally date, to schedule a time for this at the rally if you still wish for this For those that did not sign up and want to, they will have a form at the rally so you can get this done while there.

To the folks that are arriving early for the rally. We found Millsite RV Park. It's a city park run by the City of Myrtle Creek. They have about 9 or 10 full hookup sites available for $25 night. Call Jolene @ 541-643-0279 and she will save you a spot if your interested. We are 10 miles north of Canyonville right on I-5.
