RV insurance - our Blue Sky Policy is being cancelled!
Nothing that we have done, I guess they are getting out of the business- so I need suggestions. Who do you use for your RV?

We have Progressive RV insurance. Has very good reviews, but we haven't had to file any claims (knock on wood) so far.

In my humble opinion, I would start with whomever is insuring your TV. Typically, when the 5'er is attached to the TV, the TV's policy is what is covering the trailer. RV insurance usually only covers the trailer when it is not being towed. We have State Farm for all our stuff and have never had an issue. Full coverage for a '07 Springdale 291 RKL-GL is in the neighborhood of $200. a year. Since we have roadside and towing for the TV through State Farm, I don't see a need to add that for the trailer.

We have USAA, but they have Progressive underwrite their RV, motorcycle, ATV, boat, etc insurance. Had them on my ATV & Boats for years... but never needed to make a claim.

We are with USAA, as well. However, they are covering everything: truck, car, fifth wheel, and renter's policy (we're full-timers). I was told they shunt motorhomes to Progressive (under a USAA agreement) but are covering our fifth wheel themselves. If I weren't USAA eligible, I would probably look into Progressive, too.

One thing to be aware of is that State Farm does not offer full-time coverage for RV's.
