2600RB or 2150RB
We like both of these trailers but love the theater seating in the 2600RB. Only question is will our truck tow the 2600RB. 2016 F150, towing package, 5.0 V8, 3.31 rear end, 7,000lb GVWR, 1784lb payload capacity, 145" wheelbase, truck weighs 5540(5040lb steer axle, 500lb drive axle on cat scales) with my husband in it. Just the two of us and the granddaughter as long as she will have us. Thanks in advance for any opinions. We are long time campers but first time RV buyers.

By using the Trailer Life tow guides, the lowest tow ratings for your truck is 8000lbs.
You should be fine with either one. Buy what you like.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

???
Something doesn't sound right. 5000 lb steer axle and 500 lb drive axle?
I would expect something more on the lines of 3K/2K.

I agree. The total weight is accurate though. Thanks for the response.

The max tow rating is 8900lbs according to Ford based on our truck's configuration. Thanks so much for the response.

Thanks, I feel pretty good about it. We will be towing primarily in the upstate and lowcountry of SC, north Georgia, Western NC and east TN for weekend trips. I've emailed grand design to get their opinion as well. Have a safe Fourth of July and thanks for the response.

Sorry forgot to say we have the 2600rb model. We originally got the 2950rl but that was too much for the 150.

We just picked up our 2600RB with the same TV as you but we have around 1400 cargo capacity probably because of the options and had no issues. Now of course we are in FL and was mostly flat highway but this was my first time towing anything so I don't have anything to compare it to.

We just bought a 2600RB but debated between the 2150RB as well! We have the theater seats(which I LOVE) so having the kitchenette makes a perfect bed for one or two grandchildren! My daughter slept on a twin air bed which fits perfect on the floor for the odd time you need it!We are pulling ours with a 2016 Lexus GX460 rated for 6500 lbs and it handles it great but I think an F150 would be better and give you more room to haul stuff! I think we are going to look at an F150 too so I don't ruin my car with camping wear and tear! Enjoy whatever you decide!
