I have an appt. for next Sat. for installation of:
Winegard Trav'ler Dish 1000
2 wireless joeys
1 wireless access point
1 hopper
This system should allow us to watch different channels on all three TVs at the same time and allow us to watch any of the recorded shows on any of the three TVs. Hopefully, I'm getting the right system to be able to watch the recorded programs on all the TVs?Last edited by JCZhome; 08-18-2017 at 08:07 PM. Reason: Add more content.

That should do it. I was able to wire it without using the wireless Joeys since the hopper makes its own connection point through the coax.. Maybe the new hopper 3 doesn't or maybe the wireless is just easier. So far I've been happy with dish. I've always been curious on where and how the winegard travler is installed. Are they going to run the cables down into the pass through/docking station?

We are 1/2 timers. Had Direct, went to Dish. Direct was harder to set up -- had to hit 5 sats. Tailgater would not let us record another program while watching a different one so I use a tripod and dish. We carry our Hopper 3 from home. Dish was also cheaper then Direct. I call Dish and let them know where we are and then can get locals. I use an app on my cell phone to set up the dish -- works very well.

Install was successful with a minor hiccup. Something wasn't compatible with something so we got another hopper with sling as a free upgrade. They told us that the sling will allow us to watch any of our recorded programs from anywhere in the world that we have an internet connection. So that'll be nice for the few times that we may fly somewhere and stay in a hotel.
If everything goes as planned we will be going in to a local RV park here in San Diego on Sat. and I will then be retired at the end of the day on Tue. and we'll be headed out on Wed.
NOTE: A more experienced RVer suggested that even though we only needed two of the three cables, to go ahead and have the installer run all three cables through the roof so that if we ever change equipment in the future and need the third cable that it's already run.SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually.
