    Recommendation for Oregon

We are headed to the NorCal GD rally next month and then up to Oregon for a couple weeks. Can anyone comment on Netarts Bay Garden RV resort in Tillamook and Sunset Beach State Park in Coos Bay?

I can't imagine a bad state park in Oregon. I don't recall The Netarts Bay park in our stay in the great state of Oregon. The port rv park in Newport is an interesting place. The Rouge River Brewery is right next door. You are right on the bay so you can watch the boats come an go. Across the highway, walk down the South Jetty to see the ocean. There are a lot of good places on US 101 for ocean camping.

Sunset Beach State Park is a nice state park. There are not very many large spots. I camped there in the old pickup camper and tents many years ago. I drove through recently with the motorcycle looking for a spot for our rig. I don't think I will be going there. The roads are narrow.

I agree. The Newport Marina RV Park is a great location and the spot are easy to get into.

Winchester Bay RV Resort is a beautiful park. I have not stayed there yet.

Turtle Rock was pretty good when we stayed there in the camper. Our 5'er would fit, but haven't been there yet either.

    Honey Bear looks nice too.

My wife and I will be at Neskowin RV Resort (member park just over the hill to the north of Lincoln City) the last week of Sept.

Lived in Eugene for 7 years, I second the Port Rv park. The ocean, the boats, the Oregon Aquarium all within walking distance. Winchester Bay is also a good place to stay, not a lot of man made attractions, but the ocean/beaches are great.
