Looking for kitchen counter extension
I'm wanting to get the pictured counter extension for my 2017 395M. I saw one on an '18 when we purchased ours. If anyone has one in their rig, I would really appreciate a part number from your MSRP sheet. My dealer is having a hard time locating the part number. I called GD as well, but was unable to get the number. I was told to contact my dealer. The counter on my rig is close enough that 'm very confident I could make it work. Here is the picture.

John - I think you need to go "up the chain" at GDRV to get past the guy who can't (or won't bother to) look up the part information for you. That answer is unacceptable from the manufacturer. From your dealer . . . no surprise there.

I may try that. My parts guy at the dealership is looking into it for me. They sold the unit with it in there, but he does remember it as it was also a full body paint model. Hopefully he can come up with it. The person I both spoke with and emailed at GD was a rep in parts. May have to try to speak with someone in customer service if I can't find out something at the dealer level.

I think I found the extension hiding in plain sight in the 2017 interior part section on the website. I was looking in the 2018 parts after being told it was not available on the 17's. I have emails in to both GD and my dealer to confirm it's the correct piece and to get pricing. Here is a screen shot of what I found.

Got it ordered through my dealer this morning. Beth at GD came to the rescue with the bracket part numbers.

The part number for the extension itself id 670756. I don't have the part number for the brackets, but my dealer was able to get them. I did discover an issue last week. If you have a 17like mine, the cabinet is slightly curved outward. The extension was in play when I tried to put the slide in ( I had not tried that before last weekend. I had to remove the extension piece from the brackets to travel. I'm still deciding if I want to redo the cabinet or notch the molding around the slide. I have my brother in law who is a finish carpenter coming over to look at it when I get back from this trip.

Well, finally got my brother in law to the house yesterday to look at the cabinet. Hour and a half later, no more curved cabinet. I was shocked how easily he took it apart. No glue holding anything. Just a few small staples. He straightened the MDF arches, added some solid wood to screw the extension mounts to, and put the fascia and molding back on. Looks like it was made that way. I reinstalled the extension today and now the slides will go right past. Done deal!! Here are a few pics of his handiwork.
Sorry for the sideways pictures. Not sure how to correct that.John and Denise; Houma, LA
