We did something similar when we went full-time with a few differences. I put the sub behind the fireplace and completely eliminated the Furrion unit altogether (we play music from a tablet to the sound bar and don't use the outside speakers at all). It looks like you could use a Logitech Harmony remote... we only have one remote laying around.

    Rob,

I have a Harmony just lying around that I haven't used in years. Will have to get it out and set it up. Yes, most put the subwoofer behind the fireplace but mine has a few controls on it that I will adjust form time to time and therefore wanted it where I could access the controls. Otherwise, the is more than enough space behind the TV/fireplace for all sorts of stuff!

I'm sure your system sounds great, but I can't get the porter off my mind. Where did you find it? My beer of preference.

It was a limited brew from Anderson Valley. Went online at Total Wine And More and bought all I could find in my area. Was able to get 12 bottles. TW&M has a very nice online purchase system with 7 days to pickup. Worked out great for me.

BTW, this is one great brew! Discovered it by chance walking throug a new wine and beer shop in Flagstaff.

Good luck, let the hunt begin...

    Dan,

You are welcome and hope it helps. Plus, documenting benifits my aging memory

Discovered the Dish Anywhere doesn't work with Wally. Just means I have to walk out to the RV to program before a trip.

I use my iPhone with Verizon the majority of the time. I attempt to use the local wifi if available but rarely find it to be adequate. Plus, most RV parks do not allow streaming on their wifi.

All cellular plan are capacity limited (even though they are all label unlimited) unless you are grandfathered. With Verizon, hotspots and tablets can get you more data capacity at a lower monthly rate than smartphones.

Unfortunately, there is NO one simple solution for RVs...
