Is anyone else making a special trip to see the total solar eclipse next Monday? We're currently on our way to Nebraska where a large part of the state will be in the path of totality. We'll be camping in Lincoln but drive down to Beatrice and Homestead National Park on Monday.

Safe travel to the eclipse zone.
It's CRAZY busy out here in Oregon. Oregon is expecting to get over a 1,000,000 visitors. The population of Oregon is only 4M.
I still have to work for a living, but the work van is going to the "total eclipse" zone. I will be on a back country road about 10 miles from Lebanon, Oregon.

We live in NH and are on our way to Cambridge, Idaho (will arrive tomorrow). We made our reservation a year ago. We have been on the road for 3 weeks and won't get home for another 8, but the eclipse was the reason for the trip.

Tom & Nancy - we were going to just drive to the Lincoln area since we are only 3 hours north but it appears as though the forecast for the central zone may be cloudy. Our area will be in a 91% eclipse which is not too bad so may end up staying home. I think Jim and Paul are in the northwest zone somewhere as shared on previous posts........many folks (millions as Ken mentioned) are planning to take this in.
