    Shenandoah National Park

    Very early stages of planning a trip to the Shenandoah National Park. We are planning on doing some hiking, fishing and other activities. May do a day trip to the Smithsonian Museum or other DC activities.
    We would like hookups but don't need resort items but would stay if nice park.
    Any recommendations?

    Andy Guest Shenandoah River State Park. Water/electric, fairly new, nice sites, nice restrooms at all new or restored Virginia state parks. You can also find campgrounds along I81.
