Pro Pride and a Hensley hitch is the same thing.
Basically, the engineer that designed it worked for Hensley. When the patent was up, he built his own hitch called the Pro Pride.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

Hensley and ProPride are two different companies selling hitches invented by Jim Hensley. Hensley came first and then ProPride. I bought a Hensley Hitch (Cub model) to tow my last Jayco Travel Trailer with before I traded the Jayco for my current Reflection 5th wheel. I couldn't have been happier with the Hensley hitch. I was pulling a 5500lb trailer with a Nissan Pathfinder at the time, and setup was as solid as a rock. No sway whatsoever, not even when being passed by big rigs.
Hensley was great company to do business with. Hensley ended up buying my hitch back when I upgraded to the 5th wheel. They sell refurbished hitches as well.
According to ProPride's website their hitch is a more advanced version of the Hensley, but I think only Hensley handled lighter weight campers at the time I was looking. If you are looking for the most solid hitch out there either one would make a good choice.

Being an ex Hensley owner, I can tell you all the control you need is in the Hensley or ProPride hitch. Either one is a great hitch.

I recently upgraded from a Fastway E2 to a ProPride 3p hitch. I tow a 6000 lb. trailer with a Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. I can tell you that there is no comparison. The ProPride is the best hands down. No sway and a smooth straight ride. Plus it is easy to hitch up. Expensive - heck YES! but so worth it IMO.

Those who had a Hensley/PP hitch with your travel trailer and then went to a 5th wheel, does you 5th wheel pull any better than the travel trailer did?
