Best route from Boise to Coos Bay

Does anyone have a suggestion for the best route from Boise, Idaho to Coos Bay in Oregon? Pulling a GD Imagine 2600RB travel trailer. Hopefully a route with minimal inclines, safe, gas stations and rest stops along the way. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It depends on how long you want to take to get there. Remember that you have the Cascade and Coast ranges in between.

I84 to I5 then south to Drain and over to 101 or south to Winston and over to 101 are the major road routes.

I84 to 26 in Portland over to 101 between Seaside and Cannon Beach and down is a very scenic route but longer.

Could also take I84 to Ontario then cut across using either 26 or 20 at Vale.

Just did 3/4 of that. I've driven hwy 26 many times as an Oregonian. IMO one of the nicest routes. I would take I-84 to hwy 26 to Prineville, then 126 to Sisters, then hwy 20 to the Santiam jct and take 126 all the way to Florence. Then head south on 101 to Coos Bay. Scenic all the way.

    Go the Duck route.
The town of John Day has a fairgrounds RV Park. Also the Fish House In and RV Park is a nice quiet park.

There are big hills and corners on this route, so if you are not comfortable; don't do this route. But the scenery is great.
