On the factory tour earlier this year, I was told there are two conduits that run from the roof (with cover plate pictured above) to the basement area directly below. In my 310GK there is a label on the ceiling of the basement that says something above roof access. I believe you have to cut the vapor barrier in the basement to access the bottom of the conduits. On the roof, you would need to provide some type of weather head to seal the wires and roof. I have not opened mine, so I can not say for sure.

Thanks CoChris. I'm still looking for guidance on how to open cover plate on the roof. I suppose you begin by scraping the sealant away. . .

Perfect. Thanks for the peel back info. I'm starting my solar panel project in the next couple of weeks. I'll reply on this thread with pics of the process.

Look forward to the progress! As a suggestion, start a different thread in Mods section. Probably will get a little more attention there and it's a fresh start.

We have a Solidute 310 and the access panel on the roof for satelite is above the garage. There is label on the roof of your garage to identify access channel, after removing the aluminum panel about 4" square you have to fish around for the channel going down. Mine was 4" toward the center of the RV, this is how I ran my solar panel wires. I purchased a plastic solar access panel for the two cables, now that I'm looking to expand to 600-800 watts I'll probably use an exterior electrical box. Hank

Does anyone know if the Momentums are wired for satellite with the coax that will power the dish? We have a Dish Tailgater and it requires the coax with power to enable it to search for the satellite. We have yet to use the TH because 2 hurricanes have messed up trips. But, barring anymore hurricanes, we are going to North GA next week!

    Thanks!

Works fine on ours. Just run coax from the satellite port in the basement to the dish and from the sat connection behind the tv to the receiver.

Our Momentum is wired through out with the proper cable. All connections (4) work fine. I am running DirecTV that at my home runs RG6 cable. Our Genie and Mini Genie receivers work fine in the Momentum.

    Hope this helps.
