    Talking undecided between a 2500RL and 2600RB...

I have been looking to buy my first RV. Been reading a lot on RV, quality issues, lack of services at many dealers, etc...
Am located in Quebec/Canada, and there is only 1 dealer selling Grand Design.
I did visit all models on floor....and discovered your forum.
    What a goldmine for me....
If any of you can help me decide between these 2 models. we are only two adults, and a small dog.
Planning to travel....around some US states, and western canada,

    Thanks to all.

    Toulouse.

Wave owned both mid- and rear-living units and find rear-living floorplans to be much more "livable." Mid-living with limited window area (minus the big window in the back) can get claustrophobic on a rainy day. You don't say what you plan to tow with, but make sure your tow vehicle can not only handle the GVWR of the trailer - especially in the mountains out west - but the loaded tongue weight (use 12% of the trailer's GVWR and the max payload for the tow vehicle to estimate).

I am also a new GD Imagine owner, my wife and I are in a similar circumstance (same truck, no others traveling with us). We plan to visit the 4 corners of the US and have been searching for the right trailer for 6 months. We went with the Imagine 2150RB due to the ease of towing and the thought that it was enough trailer but not too much. We spend 95% of our waking hours outside while camping and decided the 2150 offered enough room for a rainy day of board games and TV and didn't have a lot of space we would rarely use.

Best of luck in your adventures.

I think the 2600RB has a bit more counter top space and feels a bit more open because of the larger slide. The sitting area directly across from the television is a must have for some.
