Why are my pictures resized to such a small size when I attach them? I see other's posts with much larger pictures. I have tried to upload images of wiring diagrams to assist other members, but they are too small to be of any value.

When I view the image by clicking on it, it is presented in a much smaller format that what I uploaded making the details difficult to see.

klenger - Are you using the forum picture upload utility or some type of click and drag?
If you click on "Go Advanced" and then scroll down to "Manage Attachments" the pictures will be below your text, but at higher resolution. Example attached.

If you are looking to insert a picture you need to have it hosted then link to it. You can either use an outside photo host or you can go into your profile and create an album, upload the pic you want in your post then view it. From there you copy and paste the bb code that you will see on the lower right of the page. I always downgrade (optomize) the file a little so it isn't such a large file size to save forum server space if I host it here.

The bb code will resemble this ( I left off the first and last brackets [ ] so you can see it or else it would be the pic)
    IMG]https://www.mygrandrv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6820&d=1486685911[/IMG

add those brackets and this is what you get , if you create your post in the advanced posting Select advanced on the lower right corner of the quick post frame, you will be able to preview before it is posted allowing any editing to be done easily

I have been having trouble with this forums photo function. The dialog box freezes after I select a file in browse, then does nothing. I have found a workaround by using RV nets photo hosting. Drag the photo into the conversion box and you get a URL that you can copy and paste into a reply. Photo comes up.
