    King Antenna

Our 2018 Solitude 375RES came with the King antenna. However, the inside control does not have the LED lights that indicate signal strength. I happen to have another of these antenna's that does have the lights. It was a simple matter to change out the new base plate for the old one and now we can see what strength signal is available. I like easy mods (that work).

FYI We just bought the King Antenna at the Elkhart rally. I only bought the antenna part that replaces the bat wing. We now get stations in remote AR where we didn't before. Maybe I should check into adding a signal meter,,,no telling what we'd get.

Our 337 came the King Antenna without the digital tuning display. Does anyone know where I can get the digital display part to upgrade our current antenna?

Call King Controls. They have been really helpful. I had to remove four parts from the old plate. The top plate with the led lights in it, the splitter, an extension cord (which had yellow female ends) and the bottom plate. The original bottom plate did not have a place (s) for the leds to show through. The splitter has three cable attachments on it -- one "in" and two "outs". I attached the feed from the antenna (a very thin wire) to the "in", attached the thick cable to an "out" and the yellow (thin) wire to the other "out", with the other yellow end to the led fixture. I stuffed all the wires into the ceiling and mounted it into the original holes. I was really surprised that it worked!

Can you show a picture of this? Or more detail in what you actually did?
