350m Satellite receiver placement ideas

I built shelves underneath the TVs in bedroom and garage. Put it on the shelf above the TV in living room. The sidewall I have no good answer.

I can see the addition of shelves in the garage and bedroom. But in living room in the 350m there is no real place to put a receiver. The cabinet where the stereo/entertainment system is way to small for it and the cabinets above are not practical.

Kregli, did you just fish cable from that top shelf above tv?

I was able to fit an Xbox1s and a DirecTV (H25/100) receiver on the shelf above. Drilled a hole in shelf to feed power and signal cables.

Alright, what I decided to do was get industrial strength velcro and mount the receiver flat on the wall behind the TV itself. Then I can still remove it and take it in the house when the trailer is parked and record more content for the future, I have attached a side and front view to show how it fit. This also gives me the ability to use the front controls still and not have to add additional power to support the addition of the receiver. Another suggestion is to add a Toslink cord from the back of the TV to the back of the Jensen radio so you have the ability to play the sound for whatever is being shown on the the TV through the stereo system as well. Not sure why GD doesn't do this as a standard? Mark

So far this is the only thing i have found that they didnt put much thought into at least on the 350m, really just no place to put it unless you are somewhat creative. Then you need to tie it all into the stereo system, just seems like this was an afterthought
or not even a thought.

They have 15lb velcro sttrips at Walmart, put three or four of thoseon there and run the toslink at the same time like i said and you should be happy. Then anything else like a blu-ray or computer can be plugged in through the tv and played over the stereo system. Good luck with the project. Mark
