    Saskatchewan to Phoenix route

I posted this in a blog already but may have more luck here. Heading to Phoenix in February with a 379fl looking for best route doesn't have to be the fastest just best roads for winter driving. Has anyone done this? Looking for more interstates than secondary roads. Or even left from lower states North Dakota or Montana? Thanks

That may be the route we take, seem to get that feeling from most. Other than people don't like the SLC drive by. Thanks

Yes, driving through/by Salt Lake City can be a challenge. We found leaving north SLC (headed south) early in the morning was pretty easy. Don't wait until the middle of the day, for sure. Driving Northbound around 3pm is a definite no-no.

Salt Lake is bad, but so is Denver. If you go through Denver, make sure you take the toll bypass. Totally worth it. However, check road conditions coming through Raton, NM area. A storm cell can turn that into a sack full of alley cats in no time.
