New 377MBS Owners
Hi All,
We are new owners of a Solitude 377MBS and are looking forward to getting it setup. We are off to a bit of a rocky start though as we noticed that one of the large dual pane windows in the dinette area is actually a single pane window! Like all the other dual pane windows in the unit it had a sticker that identified it as an insulated window.
The dealer, Voyager RV in Winfield, BC has been very responsive and have gone back to GD to get the proper dual pane window. Hopefully that won’t take too long.

Congrats! How did you come to decide on this model? We had a 310GK in our heads due to the length. Now we are rethinking to the 377 MBS due to the extra room. A bit concerned about towing something this long, campground availability and extra strorage fees. Any problems with any of those concerns?

Hi, and thanks very much for the congrats. We haven’t actually towed our unit yet as we had it delivered to the campground by our dealer. We have an F250 diesel and it is too small to pull this unit. We decided on the 377MBS because of the mid coach bunk. It provides an area where I can have an office and a loft overhead for the grandkids when they visit. We also have a Dutchmen Denali 293RKS that we can tow with the F250. It is just over 37 feet long and is no problem to tow so I don’t think the 377would be a problem either, we just need to upgrade to an F350 or F450 dually for the extra weight to pull it.
As far as campground availability, many campgrounds can handle the 41 feet of length without too much problem, you just have to do some research online before you commit. Try allstays.com or similar websites do research on the areas you want to stay. Hope this helps.

You might also join the Grand Design owners Facebook group. There is a lot of good info there as well.
