There's an economy model of this for $158 less any discount codes you find (hint - check the airstream forum).

I installed one of these on my previous fiver and I think it was easier to mount than the fancy model that comes in a box with all the wires installed. I installed the board - mounted on standoff legs - in the area of my AC where all the rest of the electrical components are mounted.
Two suggestions if you go this route. 1. Get some "figure 8" washers to simplify mounting (if you have to ask ....) and 2. Have a good pair of ratchet crimpers and crimp on spade connectors.
For this kind of money it may be worthwhile installing these boards on both AC units and that MAY make it possible to run two AC units from a 3kw genny. Anyone want to experiment?John and Jean

Completed the install yesterday with the assistance of Johndeerefarmer's instructions. I did call Micro-air and ask the best place to attach the black wire to the compressor's blue wire. They answered quick and said the connector at the compressor was propriety, so no use running the wire directly there. I used a 3 way crimp connector and it works like a champ!
