If you really want something that will improve the ride take a look at the air ride hitches themselves. We have the air safe version ourselves and are very happy with it. It takes out 95% of the chucking and banging of a regular hitch.

Sorry. I've never heard of it. One thing to watch with this Shocker "hitch" (really more of a pin box modification) is how it will affect your truck bed rail clearance. If you drop the height of your hitch to accommodate this device, you need to make sure the front of the 5th wheel still has sufficient clearance with the side rails on the bed of your truck. That is a problem with many of today's newer truck/5th wheel combos even without this device being added to the pin box.

Seems the name and the price are tied together. That's my experience.

I have to say after watching the video that thing is noisy. That clunking would drive me nuts in short order.
