Yes, that's correct. The TVA drains it down in the winter. Right now it's 18' below normal. In the spring they begin filling it up again so that by mid-March the lake is near normal, and by July/August it's at it's normal levels again.

Why do you say that?

Mainly what I have experienced so far. Usually, if you are in a mountainous area on the lakeshore, you are in a valley where cell signals are very weak to non-existent. There may some that offer Wi-Fi, but as a general rule, TVA, State Parks, and COE parks don't offer it. A lot don't have full hookups either. Having said that, we are relativey new at this and don't have all the new signal booster gizmos that a lot of people have. (At the moment, we are in Poverty Point State Park in Delhi, LA and they have Wi-Fi and it's an open network but it's pretty good)

Jim...glad to see someone else towing with a Titan XD....We live in Young Harris, Ga. About 10 miles from Blairsville. That RV park is pretty good if you want to do the entire season. Fishing on Nottely is pretty good...esp for black bass...some decent crappie fishing too. We are building a new house in Tallulah landing that is just across that area of lake from the campground. The water level starts coming up in March and should be full pool by late April. Until then you will see lots of red mud. Welcome to the area. When I retired from Navy I moved up here to get away from ocean...lol.
