    Yeah - it's gonna be a decision process for us. We really like the 310GK - but I'm not so wild about getting a dually. If we start full-timing, we may want a washer/dryer and that will likely be the last straw.

    You have stability and a safety margin with a dually, you have no (or very little) margin with a SRW, even one ton. Your own reasoning is steering you in the best direction. And we haven't even talked about the upsizing of your Solitude!

    You hit the nail on the head there. We had 310GK and my first weighing for just week trip was 180 pounds from my GVWR and with it loaded up for 30 day it weighed in at just over 14,000 pounds and I was within 300 pounds of my 7,000 axle ratings and still have a my washer and dryer or generator installed yet.

    Here is my scale weights for the week trip right after I got the 5er..... Just be careful how you loaded and what you load and you can stay under your specs.
