Ceiling Fan Balance

Primarily for 5Ws since the bumper pulls usually don't have ceiling fans.
I was reminded recently on how to truly balance a ceiling fan. DO NOT USE WEIGHTS.
Use a step ladder and a means to measure the distance from the top of the ladder to the end of the fan blades. I use a sheet rock square but a yard stick will do. Find the one or two blades that are higher or lower than the majority of the blades and gently pull down or push up to adjust.
It doesn't need to be exact all around but close, within a 1/2 inch or so and your balance problems will go away.

Now you have my curiosity piqued... Do any GD units come with ceiling fans?

Jim, I'm not sure but I know when we were shopping we did see some with ceiling fans just not sure if they were GDs. I was posting in my local NextDoor and thought I'd copy the post here as well.

None of the GD products have ceiling fans unless they came out yesterday!!
