I guess that's why GD is offering so many different product lines. Something for everybody. I think the Transcend line is going to be a huge hit for GD and I'm looking forward to seeing them at the campgrounds we hit this summer just like we look for the other GD models in their lineup.

Well... took our unit on its maiden voyage last weekend to St Joseph Michigan area and had a great time. Stayed in the KOA at Coloma... what great owners. They've really made some great updates and very friendly. When we purchased it, I had the slide topper put on and we also had the shower screen they put in the Imagine unit on the shower. Kids and shower curtains are not necessarily a good match... lol
The only thing my wife wasn't entirely happy with was the trifold couch. It's comfortable, but not like home. So, I went a huntin' for a replacement and got a Thomas Payne that's power, massage and heat, lighted cup holders... everything and just put it in today. Took all of 30 minutes to replace out. Now I have a new trifold sofa I have to find a use for. This sofa was under $900 and it's her Mothers Day gift from me and the kids.
Also added a smart tv to bedroom for us...
Can hardly wait to get out this weekend. Having a great time!

After travelling several thousand miles this year and staying at 10 different campgrounds we finally saw our first Transcend on the road today. He was eastbound on I-90 in New York, maybe around the 160 mile marker. My question is; Are these units just not selling? In the equivalent time period after Imagines were available we saw quite a few. Maybe its because families are just now getting out camping now that school is out for summer. Just wondering.

Lots of competition in that price range for a stick and tin trailer. Only 3 floor plans to chose from and if you have a family you're looking at a 32' or 36'. Might not be everybody's cup of tea.
I do like the 28MKS. Best bang for the buck IMO.

Just joined the forum and my wife and I are interested in the 28MKS. One thing we really didn't like was the shower curtain in the bathroom. I think a shower door would be more appropriate. I wonder if there would be a good way to install a shower door. The curtain just seemed out of place. I think the 28MKS has a lot of the features we are looking for. We actually have had the chance to look at one in person. Does anyone know which OTA antenna GD uses on the 28MKS?

I am considering the purchase of the 245RL. The main concern I have is the RV being a 30 amp with only 1 A/C and having cooling issues in the bedroom (has only 1 small A/C duct in the bedroom) on one of those hot/humid days here in south Louisiana. Does anyone have the245RL and can comment from experience on the ability of the camper to maintain a decent cooling temperature in the extremely hot/humid days of summer? Secondly, are there any issues with the 30 amp being able to keep up with all of the appliances being ran at the same time, especially if the microwave is being used while the A/C compressor is on with the TV and lights, etc?
