2019 Grand Design RV Las Vegas Rally (March 15th - March 17th, 2019)

We have placed the order for our 381M, and are expecting delivery late September or early October. We think it will be more fun to bring the new 5th wheel to the rally, sooo are there any sites still available?

If you're coming down from 93 to get on the 60, beware to avoid going through the town of Wickenburg. There is low bridge with a 13' 6" height! Once you're on the 60, turn off to highway 74 (about 10 miles), as this is a good short cut to get to I-17 to Phoenix. If you stay on the 60, it will take you through Morristown and to the West side of Phoenix.

On 93 (future I11) you will have no problem. It's actually a 4 lane divided highway most of the way to I40. I haven't been on 60 in so long I really can't say. Back then, it was basically city streets once you passed Loop 303 (going south). That may have changed though. I'll check with my DW tomorrow and ask her about 60. She drives from Vegas to Peoria on business all the time. She would know...

We definitely agree on the Wickenburg bypass, but our experience is I 17 between Carefree Hwy and I 10 can be very clogged with traffic. That's why we recommended taking I 10 west to the 303.

Just a note to those kickin the can trying to decide on this rally......there will not be any photos taken or comments posted after this rally because we all know that rule #1 is "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS"!. So if you really want to see and know what's going on at this, the FIRST annual Vegas rally.....there's only one FIRST.....commit, make your reservations and we'll see you there!

Yes, I know, ralliers is not a word; but it sounds right.

I just wanted to let you know that the rally registration is currently full with 150 signed up. Please do not let this keep you from joining the waitlist. I tend to get a 24% cancellation rate from those signed up and a whopping 75% turn down rate from those on the waitlist. So really, most that sign up on the waitlist and keep the rally weekend open on your calendar, will end up getting in.
