    Entry Step Replacement.

Has anyone replaced to SolidSteps on their Solitude? If so, any suggestions/hints?

They (Grand Design) were letting the standard step framing under the metal J wrap.

You can trim the metal out and put any standard step in the framing.

I am also interested in replacing the three steps on my 2017 Momentum 376TH to the 4 step version that's on the 2018 model 376TH. Nobody at the dealership could tell me for sure if they are interchangable so I sent an email to Lippert just a couple of days ago, asking if they're just plug N play without any modifications. And, like most things, I've already found the same model that I want on the internet for about half the price that the dealership wants for them.

I want to go from this....... https://www.etrailer.com/RV-and-Camp.../LC293661.html

    to this.......... https://www.etrailer.com/RV-and-Camp.../LC432698.html

The cheapest price I've found on the net is $249 from PPL Motohomes Parts.

If anybody with a 376TH has changed from the 3 step to the 4 step, I'd be interested in hearing about your experience and if you're happy with the new steps.

We have the Glowstep revolution and love them. We have looked at the solid 4 steps at the rally's and tried putting them up and doen. Hate them, would never have them. If not on level ground Marcy would not be able to use them. She does take the trailer with the girl's on occasion. With the Glowsteps in bad weather they are not dripping inside the trailer after putting them in.

I agree with Gary. We love our Glowstep revolutions. The solid step was a no go for me also, as I do not want the added debris dumped into my camper when closing them, not to mention the added weight of lifting them into the camper.

We have the Glowsteps on our 310 and Victoria loves how easy they deploy and retract. Has nice adjustable feet for a solid feel, and I'm not a small fella.

Welcome to the board Dave. Hope you and Victoria are enjoying that new GD.

If the Glowsteps holds you, it should hold me OK. Some of us are headed to Sturgis this year....see the post on CVOHarley.com.

Hi JCZHome, if this may help, I just changed out the original three steps for the new Revolution Glow 4 step on our 2015 305RE Solitude. It was easy to change them. Fit exactly into the old opening. Took me about 45 minutes. I put the old set into storage, should I decided to trade on a new unit, I can put the old ones to trade it.
    Good luck in your quest.
God bless, and Happy New year.
    Keep warm.
Safe travels to all, John and Carol Joscelyne and Hexy too! ! ! !

What is the width on your stock OEM steps? Mine are 27 1/2". I got a reply back from Grand Design yesterday and they told me that there aren't any 4 step stairs that are bolt in for my 2017 376TH due to the width.
