    Welcome yobigal!

    Here's my experience:

    1. We have Corelle also. I put the grippy type shelf liner on each shelf then put a little piece between each plate as well. The plates stay in place with no problems.

    3. It might depend on your floor plan but I've not had good luck with larger things staying on the counter. I remove everything for traveling just to be safe.

    That's my two cents!

    Congratulations on your new purchase.

Like JuneBug mentioned my wife used the shelf liner that grips the plates and helps keep them stationary.

I'm always worried about anything moving in the trailer so I put everything away that can be dangerous if I had to make a sudden stop . I would recommend putting any appliances or like items away in a cabinet or a box while traveling.

My best advice is to secure anything that can go flying.

Congrats on your Solitude purchase. First trip, I would go close to home, like a pull thru at Lake in the Woods, or a large back in at another big rig friendly park like Spring Gulch. We also like Drummer Boy in Gettysburg. If you are looking for a small trip, Ocean City, Maryland has some good choices like Castaway's or Frontiertown. Ocean City has plenty to do in the area as well.

We always clear the all the countertops before traveling, secure all doors and drawers. Stand inside the coach when operating the slides, carefully observe and make sure nothing is open that could catch on the slide as it goes out or in. Consider having all four tires balanced before going on your first road trip.
