also installed an under used blu ray player in the pocket next to it.
i can watch tv, or dvd through the tv speakers. Or i can watch dvd through the head unit itself and the tv. or watch a dvd and have the sound come through the speakers i upgraded inside the coach.

    P.s. I have the furrion 3200 for sale...cheap plus shipping...lulz

For some reason, your photos came out very small. What method did you use to post them?

the unit is 6.2 inches and its a double din so some wood working was needed to expand the hole.
there is a usb from the unit that will allow hooking up via USB or to charge a device.
There is also a microphone that allows me to use the unit as a hands free phone device as well
on sale from best buy as a leftover from Christmas was 199. it was 229 originally i believe.

Does Kenwood still tap into the Cable/coax for the radio antennae... or some other wire for that?

Looks great, I was planning on doing the same, except with an Alpine head unit.
Do you think the heat radiating up from the fireplace will have any effect on either of those components?

No manufacturer had any feedback on this question. But they are designed to be in dash of cars, in extreme heat with heat and AC around them all the time. I doubt warm air for the fire place would affect the unit. But make sure the wires are clear in the back of the fireplace. The speaker wires and 12v dv for the speaker LED's run through behind the fireplace.

Looking to do the same thing. Did you have to buy a double DIN mounting kit to mount it? If so, what did you use?

No mounting kit required. All that was needed was in the box. But as I said the hole was enlarged with a sawz all.
