    Survey Results Summary.

    Hello Everyone,
I wanted to give you the summary results of the survey. Thank you again for all of the responses. I will need to summarize the comments, and take the "nuggets" of information. I'll put that together and post that as well.

Q1: The Grand Design Owners Forum is responsive and fast.
    I agree with this statement
    70.4%
I neither agree with nor disagree with this statement
    28.5%
I disagree with this statement .96%

Q2: The Grand Design Owners Forum is reliable.

Q3: I like the looks of the Grand Design Owners Forum.
I agree with this statement 68.82%
I neither agree nor disagree with this statement 27.6%
I disagree with this statement 3.65%

Q4: I like the logo of the Grand Design Owners Forum.

I agree with this statement 79.39
I neither agree nor disagree with this statement 19.64
I disagree with this statement .96%

Q7: The features I would like to add are:
This needs to be broken down further since I didn't have it set for multiple choices. The highest was Manufacturer Articles at 40% followed by Chat at 16% But there are lots of comments indicating that people wanted multiple things. More to come.

Q8: The search feature works well.
I agree with this statement 50.26%
I neither agree nor disagree with this statement 41.03%
I disagree with this statement 8.71%

Q9: I understand and agree with the paid membership concept.
I agree with the concept 44.02%
I disagree with the concept, and believe the site should be free 31.39%
I understand the concept, but believe there should be a free option with advertisements 24.59%

    Q10: Please add comments here:
This will need to be rolled up. I will work on this shortly and post it here.

Let me know if you have any questions.
    Thanks
    Chris

My very personal opinion here and hope not to offend any one. If $10 / year is too much to pay for such a great resource, maybe buying a $50,000 - $100,000 RV isn't for you.

I was one who disagreed with the $10.00 fee and I'm not offended by your comment. My point, and it's been stated before by others, is since other forums are free (without ads) why can't this one be?

I'm curious.....what forums would those be? Or better yet, what is the quality of those forums and the information gleaned from those other forums?

It all costs $$ for a forum like this and to maintain it, aside from all the hours put in to it. Considering the quality of this forum and the information, I'm with the large majority here......it's well worth it to me.
SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually. Not pulling the 5er, catch me on my 2013 CVO Harley Ultra Classic.

iRV2 and Forest River just to name a couple. Before purchasing our Grand Design we had a Keystone Cougar travel trailer. I found both to be very helpful. I've never seen a single ad on either site.

I'm sure we're all curious. How do you propose to make this forum free without ads? Someone has to pay the bills and surely you don't expect Chris to assume all the costs and work that goes into creating this forum. He is an owner just like the rest of us. Can explain how other forums provide free service to owners? Who pays their bills?

The return on the $12 is priceless if you ask me. Almost like live customer service without calling anyone.

The comments section feedback is a bit "unruly" in that it doesn't fit any specific categories. I will mention that there is great feedback, and some really unique ideas that I will be pursuing. I will make the cleaned up version (no names, emails, or phone numbers) available as a PDF if you want to download it and read it. The big themes overall is that the search function needs much work. That the organization of the site could use to be re-worked now that we have many models in the Grand Design family. That the site is not "easy" to navigate - we'll make the determination how we resolve that. More information from Grand Design, in different forms, was also heavily reflected. There is marketing that needs to be done on my part to let users know that this forum is not tied to Grand Design, that we are two separate entities, and that they do not pay for the site.

    Thanks
    Chris
