We can chat later about MT. Maybe ill just call Gran design costumer service.
I have a goose ball, put the anderson over it, tighten down and an adapter on the king pin or what ever thats called on the trailer hitch side. I do have turn point hitch I just kept the locking bolts in and have no problem with my 6'4" bed.
I'd be happy too show you how stupid simple and lite it is.

My Brother has one and he was trying to convince me to get one. It came down to the free thing. I really like the simple light factor. I would have thought our 6'4 bed would have issues. Could it hit ever??
BTW my Brother lives in Bend Or trailer winterized and Freezing his arss off

It is a 2018 model, and yes its big. 33 or 34 overall. They did change it a bit for this year.. I have the recliners and dining in the slide out. the new one has fridge and a bigger dinning table in the slide out. I Have a hutch where there is a couch now.
There is a lot of clearance . I have it on the highest setting in the pic. (3 setting). I did have it on a middle setting when I took it out to vail lake and couple of times I didn't like the clearance.

That hitch setup looks great. When you say adjust the clearance do you mean bed clearance, or clearance from the cab? that is what I worry about turning too sharp and hitting the cab. I would love to be able to yank that thing out of my truck without busting a sweat.
I like that style of bunkhouse, our old tr was a BH but it's just my wife, and I, and sometimes friends or family so it was kind of a waste of space for us. For you with kids that is the way to go for sure.

Clearance as in Height on the truck hitch/ball and the trailer. I attached pic and you can see one hole sticking up.
I Have plenty of room from the cab. you can see the edge of low profile tool box

That is a nice set up, I wouldn't change it if no need to. I think you're sitting just right. with little higher up front. I'm a newbie to towing a 5th wheel so take it with a grain of slat. But I do have about 10 years of towing cargo and dump trailers.

I had mine where the trailer sat perfectly level (visually) front and back. I like the idea of even weight distribution on axles.
What I didn't like, when I had to enter a steep driveway info a fast food place and when gps told me take a road that turned into a dirt road that had the trailer twisting one way and my truck another. I was praying for ever inch of clearance. Thats why I went to a higher setting vs the middle where trailer sits perfectly even.

I have read that if using the AUH with the 150 series, you need to lock the pivoting pin box in fixed mode so it doesn't pivot. I have no actual experience with this, so don't quote me word for word on that.

Nice loooking setup, it might be worthwhile to consider a spray-in bed liner or that nice shiny paint in the bed will be scratched up and eventually develop rust spots after some use.
