4 vs 6 pt leveling
We have a 2018 Reflection 337 RLS which has the 4 point leveling system. What would the advantage be of the 6 point system? With either system, the amount of trailer behind the rear jacks is considerable compared to trailers with stabilizers at the rear of the frame. Would anything be gained by using stabilizers at the rear?
No real problem yet, but have felt some movement in 40+ mph winds here in South Texas this week.
Thanks.

I usually default to the mfg. If GD believed there would be a benefit to 6 instead of 4 then they would have done it. Usually you will see 6 on longer units to support the middle of the FW. The engineers at GD are alot smarter than I.

Yes, the engineers are smarter than most of us but they have to work within design parameters, clearance restriction and cost restraints. Having a jack at the rear of the trailer would not clear many objects, ie speed bumps, steep driveways. I ended up adding a pair of slide stabilizer jacks to the back end and it has taken much of the shake out.

When we stay long term, a month or more, I use a tri-pod for the pin box and two scissor jacks at the rear. Makes our 307 quite stable.
