Valterra Handle

What is the purpose of the large Valterra Valve handle in the water control cabinet? Thanks, newbies to Grand Design and our dealer didn’t know

Which trailer do you have? In my 315RLTS, the Valterra handle operates the valve on the grey water tank for the washer.

Thank you, we do have a 315rlts. And no washer. Makes sense now.

On my 297RSTS, it dumps the forward gray tank for the bathroom (sink and shower I assume). I don't have a washer/dryer installed, but I expect the washer would dump into the same tank. The black tank and rear gray tank dump valves are located next to the dump port, which I expect you already know about.

The 315RLTS has 3 grey tanks. Kitchen, bathroom and washer.

I don’t know if it matters to you, but our 2017 297RSTS has the shower and kitchen sink combined in the rear grey tank, and the bathroom sink and the washer together in the forward grey tank (that’s if my memory serves me correctly). I tested it so we would know, but haven’t used them for a couple months now.
