Is the 2018 RAM 2500 Rail Heiight Too High for Reflections 26RL?

We just bought a new RAM 2500 Diesel with the expectation of purchasing and hauling ar 30' fifth wheel...only to discover after the purchase ...that the rails may be too high to tow a fifth wheel level? Anyone towing with a similar truck or experienced a similar issue? Problems? Resolutions?

    Thanks so much!

A few of us have lifted our trailers using blocks and suspension components from trailerblocks.com. The installation was not very difficult.

Thanks, Jim...you had a trailer or a fifth wheel lifted? Looks like you have a trailer from your post and picture. Did you take on the lift yourself or have it done?

It was my 2014 337RLS FW. I did the work myself. Paul (Poppy'sfifthwheel) did his also. It was about a three hour job. The instructions that came with the kit were pretty good. If you go that route, I'd suggest you purchase the kit that includes the new U-bolts, nuts and washers.

HI, We have the 26RL and a Super Glide hitch. We tow with a 2014 2000 diesel, my truck was raised at the factory so it must be a common height.
The dealer adjusted the hitch to the fifth wheel when we picked it up. I wonder if the height of the bed was heighted at the factory. I also have aluminum tonneau cover that slides into a drum.

Soffieone, we have a 2017 3500 SRW crew can long bed and was worried about the same thing. Once we mounted our 2014 303 RLS on it we were pleasantly surprised, we have 6 “ of clearance on doth sides and a couple of inches settling nose high. Click image for larger version.

Thanks, Steve...much appreciate the feedback. Wondering if your rig carries more weight on the hitch and if a smaller unit would do the same?
