If you have the Turning Point pin box but fix it in place (i.e., it's working like a "normal" pin box) then you'll likely need a slider hitch for your short bed. I know that some folks have had success pulling in a short bed without a slider hitch, but I don't think I'm that adventurous I was also looking at the PullRite, just waiting for a couple of bids to come back from the shop that's going to install our hitch before making a decision.
