New member with a Reflection 150 Series
My wife and I have recently moved up from the 23 foot hybrid trailer that our family has camped in for the past 14 years to a 295RL, and we couldn't be more excited to start many new adventures. We've spent months researching what makes and floor plans would work best for us, and what would be reasonable to tow with our 2010 Dodge Ram 2500; after much consideration, and after looking at more models than we can count, we kept coming back to the Reflection 150 series. Having never towed a fifth wheel trailer I look forward to learning from all of the experience represented by the members of this forum.

Welcome aboard. I look forward to reading your impressions of the Reflection 150. It should tow like a dream with your Dodge 2500 truck. When my wife and I saw that GD was making a small lightweight 5th wheel, we figured they'd sell a ton of them. The biggest difference for you may be how easy the 5th wheel tows, particularly on the Interstate. The only challenge may be re-figuring your angles a little bit when backing the 5th wheel. It's easy once you get the hang of it, just like learning anything else! Congrats on your new rv!

Funny you should ask about hitch setup -- have been working on that decision for the last few days. Originally I was leaning towards the B&W Companion, until B&W confirmed that use of the Companion with the gooseneck adapter is not recommended (and unfortunately my truck doesn't have the OEM puck system). Since I'd really prefer to have an underbed mount for the hitch the options are a bit more limited, but at the moment I'm leaning towards the Reese Elite 18k. But other recommendations are always welcome.

I'm using the 16k Pullrite that came with my Trailer (the dealer included it in the deal) They installed in my other truck. Ram 1500 ecodiesel. After two trips and having to be obsessed with weight, I traded up and got Ram 2500. Do our trucks need a slider if you don't use the turning point option? I am using it and it's all I know since this is my first 5'er as well.
