Need some input, preferably from our friends new to RV'ing.
We are planning a seminar from RV Driving School. We saw the presentation at the Quartzsite rally and thought it was very informative and have contacted Jim the presenter about coming to the Elkhart rally. Here's their website, RVDrivingSchool.com. Jim advised they would send instructors to IN if enough people wanted to take the hands on instruction (prices are listed on the website).
My questions are...how many people would pay to take the driving part? Is there enough interest to get multiple instructors to Elkhart?

Sure would like to see a weigh station set up . I am sure that would fill up fast and sends a good message of safety.
I would do the driving class based on cost of course.
We will be there as it is a hop away from my in-laws and my wife home. Plan to see you all there. Missed the Quartszite rally after a tire separation that set us back a couple of weeks getting the rig fixed.

Yes that might be a good idea. I feel this will be a valuable tool to assist drivers trying to learn how to handle the bigger trailers.
We are still camped next to Jim J. who gave the presentation at the quartzsite rally, and I asked him to come on this thread and answer some of the questions directly. He should be along shortly to do just that. BTW Jim is a Momentum owner too!

Driving Course Great Idea - From graduate of a driving course 8 years ago
While we are not new RVers, I wanted to provide you our feedback. The driving course is a great idea! We participated in a "Driving Rodeo Course" as part of our RV course when we first started Rving in 2010 and it was very informative especially for backing up the 5th Wheel.
Now that we have some experience, I would have liked the course to include information on driving aids to avoid low clearance obstacles, RV specific GPS, and how to safely and efficiently use the new trucks with trailer tow packages & emissions gear.Aaron & Donna
