Short answer No, but you will see it soon.

We have asked the vendors to send us their "Rally specials" so we can share that information in the Aug newsletter.

Dave, send an email to [email protected] requesting the information, and I will send you all three pre-rally communications.

    Pam

P.S. Anyone else needing this info please do the same. This should let your email receive our communications. Red

Rob I'm very late to the party (Pam is just getting me onto a wait list of 40 people so I'm not optimistic I'll be there).

However if you're still interested in presentation suggestions (maybe for next year!) I'd like to know more about thoroughly preparing the electrical supply of a Solitude for maximum longevity camping off the grid with a minimum of bother and minimum generator time. Solar, extra batteries, generator, sophisticated inverter/charger/transfer systems with smart monitoring and management, as plug-and-play as possible so we don't need engineering degrees to live in the trailer. There are so many choices about all this stuff; it would be interesting to meet and hear from people who have figured out best practices and best equipment for the job.

^^ I myself and I believe many others who are not experts in this subject matter would love to learn more about this. I know I certainly would.

boyscout & vonzoog: Unfortunately, there was not enough interest in this idea to justify a Rally Seminar. See post #173 and the linked discussion. There are some forum members (who will be at the Rally) who have installed great "off the grid" solar and battery systems. There is a fair amount of free time at the Rally, so I would suggest finding these folks (look for the solar panels ) and asking them one-on-one about their installations.

The rally has been booked for a about 2 months. Cancellations are coming in and we are working our way down the wait list (a good number on the wait list are also cancelling as they have made other plans). If you’d like to place your name on the list, you can do so at: https://www.granddesignrv.com/calend...a-owners-rally
